Yep. Keeping LEC out of DRS is now the target for as long as possible

One thing we haven’t talked about is weather- showers forecast right up until race start.

Almost definitely a safety car tomorrow so strategists and decision makers will need to be absolutely on it, as will the drivers.
It's going to be a mild trickle in the morning if at all, otherwise it should be the same as today.
Please tell me you don't work in the weather industry!

We are coming back and we can get a victory by using circumstances. The situation is like 1997. I am confident about 2022 will be a repeat of 1998.

Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Is there much race pace data worth its salt from Friday or not really? Friday looked messy with traffic for all teams
It was said at the time that the race pace looked no better than the one lap pace, but look how that turned out.

I'm going to wait for the race with optimism. I think we will overtake and I think our strategy gives us options. If we do not make headway then pitting earlier than those in front of us gives us an opportunity to find clear air and make use of our pace. But it will have to be managed perfectly. Something they have more often than not done.
And they really did manage the strategy brilliantly, coupled with Landos gutsy fighting to get 3rd. Fantastic race for Mclaren.

Ferrari and Mclaren will battle all year long.

Happy to see Sainz getting comfortable too.

DR needs to get up to speed quickly. No easy settling in period for him. Lando showed him up properly today, especially considering they were P5 and P9 on lap one with DR in front.

Superb stuff! Norris is a little star. Easily one of the most likeable drivers on the grid as well.

Fantastic work from Lando controlling the race with his softs. He is showing signs of a great champion battling the faster Mercedes for enough laps.

Yeah those softs didn't make the job any easier for Lando. Amazing tire management with all that pressure from behind.
