A penalty would be the cherry on the cake for such a wonderful weekend we have had so far.

If he gets a 5 place grid penalty is that a free tyre choice or not??

So frustrating that it takes so long to investigate, will Norris get a penalty or not?
He’s only just going to see stewards now…

The driver and team representative are required to report to the Stewards at 18:00 in relation to the incident below.

No / Driver Reason

4 - Lando Norris

Alleged breach of Article 31.6 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations , Car 4 did not enter the pit lane after a red flag and crossed the control line after a red flag at 16:19.

No, because he qualified in the top 10. Penalties don't alter his qualifying result, they only alter the starting position.

That’s rough... The starting position was good to push forward a bit... But, the car should have enough pace to make some strides forward, it just isn’t ideal to drop behind Perez

Better than a total disqualification which I thought they’d automatically hand out.

Lando had a good result in the race after the last time he had a ‘run in’ with the stewards- I’m thinking Imola this season👍🏻

To be expected in all honesty! Going to be a tough race of damage limitation. Hopefully get back some of the luck that was lost today!

He was unable to go to the pit (should cross the white line to do it) and not permitted to stay on track. What the hell judges wanted him to do?

Man that's a tough blow, worst Saturday yet for McLaren this season. There's still some good points up for grabs and it'll be a tough race. Shame, a missed opportunity for both drivers.

And as I expected from all the bs today Flexi Wings, tows, Ferrari type accidents the stewards decided that Lando was the one responsible. Oh well can't help it now. Fingers crossed for a good race tomorrow.

Throw in a landoesque lack lustre first lap and we could be looking at both the Mclarens outside the top ten after one lap, also theres a massive chance that not all of the aero furniture will be pointing in the right direction

Don't be so negative man. Young master Norris is a better driver than he was last year. Q2 showed how close everyone is, the feeling up and down the grid is that most drivers know they could have qualified better, and you have a tremendous straight to pass. Lots to play for tomorrow. When it's so tight, any little mistake up front can mean big opportunities, so it'll be important to be ready for whatever may come.

I have another question. How much of an advantage does Flexi Wings give to Red Bull,Ferrari and Alpine compared to Mercedes,Mclaren and Alpha Tauri?
