He’s only just going to see stewards now…
No, because he qualified in the top 10. Penalties don't alter his qualifying result, they only alter the starting position.
That’s rough... The starting position was good to push forward a bit... But, the car should have enough pace to make some strides forward, it just isn’t ideal to drop behind Perezthe EDGE wrote:Decision in … 3 place grid drop
Better than a total disqualification which I thought they’d automatically hand out.
Throw in a landoesque lack lustre first lap and we could be looking at both the Mclarens outside the top ten after one lap, also theres a massive chance that not all of the aero furniture will be pointing in the right directiongodlameroso wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 17:14Man that's a tough blow, worst Saturday yet for McLaren this season. There's still some good points up for grabs and it'll be a tough race. Shame, a missed opportunity for both drivers.
Don't be so negative man. Young master Norris is a better driver than he was last year. Q2 showed how close everyone is, the feeling up and down the grid is that most drivers know they could have qualified better, and you have a tremendous straight to pass. Lots to play for tomorrow. When it's so tight, any little mistake up front can mean big opportunities, so it'll be important to be ready for whatever may come.CjC wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 17:41Throw in a landoesque lack lustre first lap and we could be looking at both the Mclarens outside the top ten after one lap, also theres a massive chance that not all of the aero furniture will be pointing in the right directiongodlameroso wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 17:14Man that's a tough blow, worst Saturday yet for McLaren this season.
