He had engine problems earlier on in race and then after that was always driving in free air instead of people's slip stream to cool the car. That will make it very hard to overtake.
That isn't a DR problem.

Ferrari has great pace on harder tyres. It will work in their favor in a week - when todays medium is a soft and hard is a medium.
Almost looks like they did what we did last week - they setup their car for the race.
He had an engine problem. We don't know if it was persistent throughout the race. Up until the problem he was doing very well, on course to overtake Russell / Alonso.
