It was really close the second time. I thought he just about got away with it. How frustrating, really gutted for the team. The strategy didn't work out for them, they were stuck in traffic or trying to extend the stint too long, and the field was too close for them to make it work.

On to Silverstone now.

I don't understand about Yuki.
Bad communication with the engineer?

I think the rule is same at the serie he came from. He has to be cleverer.

A sneak peek into this week's All-Access! We wanted to give you a proper insight into what it's like working with Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda during a Grand Prix. So, minimum editing, maximum reality. Is it really them doing shoots in their race suits? Do they really get along like the videos we put out on social media?

Scuderia AlphaTauri

This is a fun one. We spent a lot of time in the Austrian hills the past few weeks, landing in Styria and putting all four Red Bull drivers together for a Schnitzeljagd adventure in Pingzgauers where they completed challenges on the way to the Red Bull Ring. Moving to the Austrian Grand Prix, Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda took their competitiveness to a new level by having a 100m sprint race in their overalls, taking each other on in a thumb war, and casually played football fully kitted in their race suits and helmets!

Gutted for the Alpha Tauri team and Gasly. Qualified best of the rest and could have even won the race if he didn't lose out so much avoiding the carnage. Good job to take away the fastest lap but losing a spot to Renault in the championship sucks.

sadly, so far Tsunoda looks like nothing more than "pay-driver"
I still hope he will establish himself in f1, but so far he is the disappointment of the year.

I missed the last race. How was Tsunoda running before they retired him (for engine reasons?)
