I’m willing to bet when Verstappen talks to the media he will be the voice of reason on all this.
I thought you favored keeping the emotional post race discussion out of the team threads... then why this needless provocation ?

We've had enough of "voice of reason" with Hamilton saying Max didn't gave him space. What he did today is not acceptable. 5s, 10s or whatever joke penalty he has been given
They showed Max doing similar to Hamilton in previous situations. What goes around, comes around. Max has got away with being "very firm" over time. Occasionally that will bite you. I don't expect him to suddenly change his way of driving after today's incident.

I’m sorry you see this as provocation. It’s not meant to be. I genuinely think he will be quite circumspect about it as he usually is.

The Sky team are loving this incident. It's giving them loads of stuff to talk about.

Hopefully he is okay. 51g isn't the most extreme deceleration we've seen over the years, but it was side on and that kind of takes the Hans device out of the equation.

Maybe we should await actual comments from his side before passing judgement. The guy is in the hospital after a heavy crash at the moment; to me it doesn't really sound like the right time to criticise pre-emptivlely

How did Toto predict that Ham is one Verstappen DNF from being back in the championship battle? People were saying it would be a matter of time the two came together, it's disappointing it has come to this and where/how it happened. This was not a slow corner or a heavy braking zone.

Well i would say, Hamilton inside Verstappen outside. Who will loose everything if that driver turns in. Verstappen. He should stayed on the outside line and not claim his place...

Sorry but what criticism are you referring to? I haven’t criticised anyone in the slightest.

You know what- I have slightly misused ‘circumspect’ to be fair so let me substitute that for ‘straight talking’.

Oh well, next season of Drive to Survive just generated a bucket load of content.

I am referring to your pre-emptive judgement that max would be the voice of reason; that seems like a bit of a sarcastic critique on his anticipated response.

No not at all. I just think he will have quite a straight talking judgement on it. I could be wrong but we will see.

Alright, thanks for the clarification. Perhaps i was a bit quick to judge in light of the general tone of the discussion today.

Mention made in commentary that he was feeling a bit rough so they've gone for further checks to make sure. Very wise.

Hopefully, he'll bounce back and we can have a good race in Hungary in 2 weeks.
Does F1 have a mandatory concussion stand down? He looked like a man who was a bit more than sore to me. I think the PU penalty change will be painful enough I can't imagine how much it would neutralise the championship if he gets stood down for 1 race.
Do we know what the G-load is yet? Alonso was out for a race wasn't he, several years back?
Alonso was out due to broken ribs if I’m not wrong… Really hoping that Max is fine and nothing serious out of the incident
