Did anyone else see Hamilton in the post race conference, did he all but say he had long COVID?

Apparently he visited the doctor. That he was exhausted wouldn't be surprising considering the race he drove. However, that he was barely comprehensible in the interview and seemingly barely could lift the trophy were quite weird to see.

When on the podium he put his mask on and you could see how laboured his breathing was. I've seen comments saying it was all fake.

P2 for Hamilton. Shame it had to be at Seb’s expense, but those 2 points mean it’s an 8-point lead heading into the summer break.

People forget that this guy just made 2 GP in a row delivering qualification run as much as needed. I think that's why it is just easy to go out there with the fastest car on the grid. P2 well deserved.

Not only that, but on the radio he asked a few times what lap he was in, which position he was in; things that would have been visible on a pit board, or something you were generally aware of as a driver.

TBH unless Russell is a big flop for Mercedes, then I don’t think Verstappen is ever getting a drive there. Especially after the last couple of weeks.

If it doesn’t work out with Russell, they’ll do what it takes to get Lando.
Max would be foolish to put all his eggs in Red Bull's basket.

Also, if Toto still plays 5D chess, would be worth putting Russell in the car just for Spa such that Merc avoids the 5-grid penalty.
Bottas would just take his penalty at his next race. It's a driver penalty, not a team penalty.
Exactly. He would take his penalty driving a Williams at Spa.

P2 is ok I suppose given the circumstances, but I still feel disappointed given the pace the car had, Lewis should have won the race easily. Got to give credit to Alonso for some great defence and wheel to wheel action, it was a brilliant move from Lewis to take the position from him in the end.

There's no point being too disappointed though, it could have been worse.

Maybe you should focus on getting people disqualified just because they had the temerity to finish in front of Verstappen? Or encouraging a Red Bull team member to deliberately risk his life to make Verstappen's life easier?

Red bull should look into whether Russell stopping warrants a disqualification similar to Seb, should they not?
Maybe Perez should take out Ham next race?

It's called sarcasm. My comment here was about the devious idea to offload a penalty to another team. Let's not mix threads.

Weird how often people say that when confronted with their own hypocrisy.
