Condense the weekend at Zandvoort.SmallSoldier wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 17:51They normally would have… But the problem is that they have to be in Zandvoort for next weekend’s race

If I was a ticket holder I would be fuming- to the point I’d demand a refund
A shame really, but as you well said it’s not all bad… Daniel will finish the race P4, which gives him 6 points, Leclerc and Sainz get 2.5 points between them and an small lead of 3.5 points now.Emag wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 18:30So, with 2 laps having been done, do we get half points here?
That's 6 for Daniel and 2.5 for the Ferrari duo. Meaning a 3.5 point lead to McLaren. Could have been more, but it could have definitely gone the other way around too, so I'll take it.
Onto Netherlands I guess.
I don’t think that’s Massi’s call (to race tomorrow)… I’m guessing the teams would have had a say on that oneCjC wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 18:32Condense the weekend at Zandvoort.SmallSoldier wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 17:51They normally would have… But the problem is that they have to be in Zandvoort for next weekend’s raceCjC wrote:
That’s rubbish. Just race tomorrow in my opinion

This is a farce.
Common sense once again oozing from Masi![]()
Well, Belgium and Netherlands are not exactly worlds apart, so it's not a big deal running the race tomorrow. Not sure if it's worth it though. I would just leave it as it is.SmallSoldier wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 18:34A shame really, but as you well said it’s not all bad… Daniel will finish the race P4, which gives him 6 points, Leclerc and Sainz get 2.5 points between them and an small lead of 3.5 points now.Emag wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 18:30So, with 2 laps having been done, do we get half points here?

I wish the decision to run tomorrow would have been made, but with Zandvoort been so close, I guess that’s why they won’t do it (and to be honest, probably because they don’t have a spot on TV to broadcast it and therefore there is no revenue to be made out of it)
Agreed, they could make it happen if they wanted to… But, with probably the team’s buy-in to run tomorrow I don’t think there would be consensus to run tomorrow… I’m sure Red Bull (and therefore Alpha Tauri) won’t want to do it, Williams will of course say no (they bank the P2) and I have a feeling that Aston Martin is very happy with their P5.Emag wrote: ↑29 Aug 2021, 18:36Well, Belgium and Netherlands are not exactly worlds apart, so it's not a big deal running the race tomorrow.
