So, with 2 laps having been done, do we get half points here?

That's 6 for Daniel and 2.5 for the Ferrari duo. Meaning a 3.5 point lead to McLaren. Could have been more, but it could have definitely gone the other way around too, so I'll take it.

Onto Netherlands I guess.

Think it's kind of SHAM. following the safety car for 2 laps is NOT a race.

the time limit has been suspended with one hour to go - if they think they can run later, they will run a 1 hour race
That’s rubbish. Just race tomorrow in my opinion
They normally would have… But the problem is that they have to be in Zandvoort for next weekend’s race

Condense the weekend at Zandvoort.

This is a farce.
Common sense once again oozing from Masi🙄

If I was a ticket holder I would be fuming- to the point I’d demand a refund

Damn shame Daniel did not drive a bit faster, he could have bagged a fastest lap point 🙂
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

A shame really, but as you well said it’s not all bad… Daniel will finish the race P4, which gives him 6 points, Leclerc and Sainz get 2.5 points between them and an small lead of 3.5 points now.

I wish the decision to run tomorrow would have been made, but with Zandvoort been so close, I guess that’s why they won’t do it (and to be honest, probably because they don’t have a spot on TV to broadcast it and therefore there is no revenue to be made out of it)

So lady luck yet again screws Mclaren over as we lost an opportunity of a pole and a race victory, a huge difference in the constructors. Meanwhile Ferrari got two poles out of special circumstances, Ocon got a victory out of special circumstances, Russell scored a second place out of circumstances and Freakin Mazepin got the fastest lap of the race. Daniel gives 6 points and Leclerc gives 2 points in a 4 point advantage who should have been more than 30.

I feel pity for those watching there. They should be refunded their money back. What a fiasco.

I don’t think that’s Massi’s call (to race tomorrow)… I’m guessing the teams would have had a say on that one

Well, Belgium and Netherlands are not exactly worlds apart, so it's not a big deal running the race tomorrow. Not sure if it's worth it though. I would just leave it as it is.

when has that ever happened before in F1? I don't think running the race on a Monday was ever more than idle speculation - way too many things to organise, people to consult

Agreed, they could make it happen if they wanted to… But, with probably the team’s buy-in to run tomorrow I don’t think there would be consensus to run tomorrow… I’m sure Red Bull (and therefore Alpha Tauri) won’t want to do it, Williams will of course say no (they bank the P2) and I have a feeling that Aston Martin is very happy with their P5.

Well the race will not resume. History has written that Ocon got a victory, the Ferraris got two poles, Russell got a second place and Mazepin got a fastest lap and Mclaren with hard work and a better car still chases those.

Not sure how to feel. Sure we did gain a 4 point advantage over the Ferraris but the difference should have been more than 30.

Track marshalls have jobs, I don't know who would do their job on Monday.
