If they didn't have a shark fin the engine cover would have to come up to that line.

So having a bigger shark fin means they have a smaller engine cover.

Perspective changes the height of the fin, but (maybe) not the angle formed by the edge of the fin with the profile of the engine cover.
In the photo, that angle is wider than any other on the F1-75 in the same context.

Anyway, the photo might be a fake, so let's not consider it too seriously.

How important is a fire up, when technically there is barely any room for engine development?
Maybe just systems itegration, but no team should be that surprised of an old PU fire up.

For Ferrari they have a lot of scope to improve engine-wise over last year. But I agree. Start-ups are just promotion of course

When we talk about Ferrari in preseason rumors, we should always be aware of a possibility, that Ferrari migth reintroduce a slightly tilted Engine.

Slightly missing the point of these clips.
Teams will of course get excited about any F1 cars first fire up for a season, regardless of if it’s a brand new engine for new regs.
First fire ups mark a significant milestone in any new race car build.
And no, the engineers wont be surprised that their new engine fires up. These audio clips are usually marking the point that the new engine is installed onto the chassis and it works independently from the bench systems in the rig room.

According to reports, the new Ferrari chassis is 2/3 kg lighter than that of the F1-75 . Weight loss which is equivalent to 1 tenth.

Worth a read for sure.

Which was a throwback to their naming system for the 1960s to 1980s. That is 24 for 2.4L and 8 for 8 cylinders.
