But that's an assumption right?
no, all I said is based on official live timing. Here are the practice screenshots: FP2 at the top, FP3 below

My Assumption Comment was based on what they used in Quali not what they used or scrubbed in FP2.

BTW live timing would look like that even if they just used the same set of soft the whole time. Every time you stop oin the pits, it think you put a new set of tires on. The bar codes on the tires are no being scanned by living timing.
ah okay, I misunderstood that part. My qualifying post was based on live timing as well, but I don't have screenshots of that.

And no, there's a different icon for new and used tires. Usually it's fairly accurate, and the amount of laps completed on the current set is always listed as well (as you can see on the left: stint/total). So if Alonso uses a scrubbed tire, the icon is "striked through" and the total has one lap more than the stint.

I think they have at least 1 set of softs that have only a scrubbing lap on them.
both still have a new set. It's not allowed to use the final set of softs before Q3, so they also weren't able/allowed to scrub it.

Didn't know that...Then maybe 1 unscrubed set of softs, which will get scrubbed on the formation lap? And a scrubbed set? Worst case scenario a 2nd set of softs with just 2 or 3 laps.

They have that brand new set from Q3 but every other set was used in qualifying (3 in Q1 plus 1 in Q2), 3 of those have done 4 laps (scrub+out+push+in) and the other one has done 7 (scrub+(out+push+in)*2).

Not a surprise, we were all expecting a low performance in Mexico. The whole team said that before Friday

We got that right, they started the race on a non scrub set of softs. We'll never know if they had another set of softs.

Trifecta!

Probably made ALonso happy, after the 10 second pit stop, he was very quiet. I'm sure he could find better things to do to fill the time.

Yep ...after stroll did pass Alonso he literally pitted and was enough for him.

The pitting must have been planned, cause they were ready for him. Unfortunately the front left wasn't ready to come off and stuck. They had to fight to get it off.
