Button actually sounded quite annoyed with him by the end of the session. Which I fully understand.Starkblood80 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 23:01Button seems to constantly contradict himzibby43 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 22:52He’s becoming a caricature of himself lol.Hoffman900 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 22:51It’s annoying even for a mostly impartial fan of the sport (go Mclaren!).
Like get over it.
too which is quite funny to hear.
It’s a problem for Dep. Of Transportations in that part and other parts of the country. Just traffic isn’t going 180mph for it to matter as much in terms of discomfort.Mezger wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 23:28Thanks for the quick replyHoffman900 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 23:20Subsurface clays and an owner that gave up on the entire re-design to divert shallow groundwater around the clay, causes heaving and settling issues.
I thought it might be something like that. Cheers

I know what you mean. Years ago I was a passenger in a friend's M3 going into Schiphol tunnel from Amsterdam doing about 140mph, I'd never felt the bump I did that day any time before. It wasn't pleasant let me tell you.Hoffman900 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 23:30It’s a problem for Dep. Of Transportations in that part and other parts of the country. Easy: Max dawdles behind someone, Hamilton locks up and then goes up the inside to avoid contact, Max then goes all "how dare you!!!!".
I walked around Silverstone with Justin Wilson. Looking at Maggots, he says "there's a nasty bump here". "Where? It's flat, surely", "Trust me, at 180mph, this ripple feels like a speed hump".Mezger wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 23:44I know what you mean. So just to confirm, Gary Anderson doesn’t know what he’s talking about either?zibby43 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 20:59I dunno, the Ferrari looks pretty good at it in Turkey:AeroDynamic wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 20:36its not an invention, but the point was Mercedes are extracting more from doing it betterzibby43 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 20:30
What did Paul show that’s not a part of every single F1 car in the paddock this year and in recent history?
Suspension squat from aero load on the straight. It’s becoming more pronounced on the Merc now that they’ve increased the rake.
This “phenomenon” is easily observable on every car in the paddock.
can you explain why you think it can't be that? you think its the engine? What Brundle said undermines that idea.
