Yeah thankfully RedBull doesn’t inform themselves with the same sources of some commentators here . They have their head screwed on right and it will help them get better. Ferrari this weekend was almost dominant, a great Verstappen kept them in check but even his pass attempts were long shots. Might be other tracks with less traction predominance will benefit them.

Indeed so. I'd love it if Ferrari win both titles after Horner made such an effort to game the FIA with the engine freeze. It would be a sweet pay back.

No - refuelling is the best way to kill on track action. Some of us sat through the last refuelling era and it was duller than a management symposium on paperclips.

You know what the real joke is? Us coming into the race thread warning people to keep it civil, nothing truly controversial happening during the race and us afterwards finding out people still really misbehaved .

And of course the mods having to spend quite a bit of time doing the cleanup on a sunday. That's basically the punchline.

That’s an F2/Indycar engine or similar. Makes 600bph, weighs 150kg. Uses lots and lots of gas.

Refuelling in F1 was wheel to wheel racing cancer.

Refuelling in F1 was wheel to wheel racing cancer.

Refuelling was not the reason for lack for wheel to wheel racing in that era.
It was to do with the cars in that era were very bad to follow. Coz refuelling was there since mid 90s and up until early 2000s it was great, after that they tried to stop ferrari domination and that made it worse

I'm sorry for McLaren because they aren't even porpoising, they're just dog slow.
Aston is another one. they got the side pods right, the car is very detailed - but it's just dead slow too.

Williams actually came out with their problems which were the brakes, poor floor and some other aero balance issues Albon found. So Williams might actually be in a better position than McLaren and Aston oddly enough!

When the cars have more power than grip they will look fast.
We had that in V10 days, 2014 with the new regs. Things looked slower when the wide wheels came and bigger wings to make them look more aggressive and faster.
But agreed on just an ICE and Mguk and massive power. Also return to lighter cars, even though those are less safe in a crash.
