Yes, I think it's limited. I suspect the reason why the openings and the "bargeboards" look bigger at the likes of RedBull is because they might have pushed the entrance backwards a bit, sacrificing some tunnel length to give them more real estate with the bodywork near the entrance to the tunnels.

Whereas teams like McLaren and Ferrari have gone for maximum tunnel length with much less to play with in terms of bodywork at that area.

Sidepods can only do so much, once everything else is as it should be, so they can't be the reason, not even close. Also, having that big of a deficit is surely related to actual downforce requirements set for the launch spec. You can't go high enough if you don't aim high enough...

There’s nothing wrong with the suspension. It’s lack of CLT. Simple as that.

Yes, but what McLaren seem to be doing is taking the keel to a minimum (physically) but using the legality box for the keel to create a channel/duct to move air from the tea tray to the top surface of the floor. This also gives them, in effect, another underfloor strake for free!!

Just seen the mechanics taping up cracks on the upper venturi inlet on daniels car. possibly caused by curb

I know there is a lot of questions in regards to the choice of sidepod concept from McLaren, but from this view I really like how it looks… Hope they get the concept to work

From a completely aesthetic stand point (not talking about the livery)… If only looks would win races!
