Hope Vasseur produces F2003GA level car for 24.
What why? Ferrari had better cars than that.

On a track considered to be the best for RedBull and probably the worst for Ferrari, this result is better than expected. Also don't forget that Ferrari had just one shot in Q3. The Sargeant crash screwed them.

Let's see the performance in the race. Vasseur said that they're confident about their race pace and can catch the McLarens. That would be a huge step forward on such a high demanding track for the tyres.

Indeed the mini race sim in fp3 on 6 lap old softs was encouraging.

“From Zandvoort, we had a lot more understanding of the car but this understeer thing is there from the beginning of the year,” said Leclerc.

Ferrari with no front end, Mercedes with no rear end. Crazy how compromised both cars are.

Anyway, if Leclerc is confident in the race pace that's a good sign. I think that 2nd place in the constructor's is there for the taking if the execution is on point.

I'm thinking anywhere from 5th-10th for both cars.

Yeah lack of rear DWF for MB has been their main issue since last year, on top of a quite difficult car to setup. They need to compensate with very big rear wings as well, losing precious time on the straights due to additional drag.

This is why i don't buy that they setup the car this way to protect the tires, this is an inherent feature of the SF-23, has been all season.

Verstappen faster and flat out, Charles lifting slightly and dragging the brakes.
All through the esses is the same thing.

Max was lifting and bleeding speed slowly rather than trail braking.

LEC is braking to transfer weight to the fronts so he can turn and balance the understeer nature of the car. Max is able to not touch the brake because his car is simply perfect, but he still doesn't have infinite DF.

It's possible in the next 2 years we might get close to flat from T2 to T6 which would be nuts.

Ferrari should split strategies
LEC: medium-soft-medium
SAI: soft-medium-hard

They can't start Sainz on the soft because he will be stuck behind Leclerc.

Most likely he will be stuck behind Perez. Also Russel is just behind for turn 1 chaos. He needs a good start.

Very defensive strategy by Ferrari..at least 1 car should ve gone for alternative strategy to force the McLaren..lost 1 position to Mercedes at the end....

Another horrible race day. The car lacking that pointy front end just means Charles can’t attack. Look at how he had to pass George, that should have been so easy, but turned into an ordeal. Can’t wait to see the back of this years car.

No idea what was going through the heads on the pit wall to pit Sainz so late on Hards, lost a lot of time there and P5 as well. Unbelievable.

Right now, it's a countdown to the end of the season, but there is still a chance for a P2 in WCC. Doesn't look like they will be able to finish ahead of Lewis in WDC.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!
