Some people are saying Aston Martin are internally questioning the recent Alonso's performance. What u think about it? just haters? maybe any realistic thing to ask it? what u guays thinks about it?
First and Last they should ?mark Stroll performance before questioning Alonso even at Age of 42 he is much much superior driver then what this paddock have right now

It's Nugnes so caution is advised, but if translation is correct he said in this video that "it seems that the request for Cardile at Aston Martin was made by Adrian Newey himself".

Any italian speakers that could help confirm this? (time already selected)

So is he replacing Andrew Green position who was moved in early 2023 if they are keeping the same job position names ?
You were italian, I think?
What I understood was that people believed that Cardile was leaving to make room for Newey but in fact it's the other way around, Newey requested bringing Cardile over to AMR.
Did they work together in the past ?

With Cardile joining, Aston rectuted almost all Binotto's team :

- Amedeo Felisa, Roberto Fedeli as CTO, Marco Mattiaccci, Roberto Bisignani and now Enrico Cardile.

Aston confirmed to bring upgrades to Hungary and Belgium. This will be an important package and if it doesn't work, the 2024/2025 development will be compromised.

All eyes are on Dan Fallows, as Lawrence Sr made an offer to Ferrari's Head of Aereodaynmics, Diego Tondi, but he refused....

Stroll recruites for both. Automotive (AM Lagonda) and Racing (AMR GP).

All these guys (Renato Bisignani btw) except Cardile are working for AM Lagonda and have nothing to do with F1.

The offer for Tondi was reported by Leo Turrini.

ps:

I guess Mattiacci is not allowed to visit AMR GP when ALO is in the house.

That's kind of misnomer, everytime upgrades don't work, the team has to stop moving forward and go back and figure out what went wrong before going down a new path. The Imola upgrades started being developed after testing. They were part of the Japan/Imola package. So AMR's development is still stuck at the beginning of 2024 and they've added another 10 weeks to manufacture new parts.

So yeah, if it fails again, they need to go back to April and figure what they're doing wrong.

You hope they have been able to replicate the issue in the windtunnel and then create new/correct CDF models with that info.

There is always the possibility that there is some new issue that they haven't seen.

Is not that easy, unfortunately many things changed since then. Like new Pirelli tyre, new technical directives, many banned things, new and stronger FIA bending test, and the cars got much faster.Just an example: Even if the 2023 Aston was fast and amazing car (2nd) in Monaco that time in 2024 wouldn't be enough in the Q3 or max for the 10th place .

I think the new regs using the floor is the biggest aero challenge. It's a whole new world they're exploring.

was watching onboard from previous races and british gp. front wing flexes more. but its crazy how much the mclarens front wing flexes compared to ours. the curvature is a lot different to mclaren and red bulls in braking zones and straights.

but the car did look extremely planted during alonsos Q2 runs. probably best since japan. even though we qualied better in china. it looked more on the rails in japan to me

i would use more techincal term but my knowledge isnt good enough to know what to say

Qualifying in Bahrain 2026 will show who was right. Until then, no one knows.

Mclaren is exploring ways to get the Red Bull/Ford engine for 2026, it means they know something about the Mercedes engine....

How is that a mistake if they only wanted him for 2025?
