I only counted 3 sets used in Q1.
that's all they had. The 4th is reserved for Q3.
Thing is the track evolution in Mexico is crazy.
Such bad tactics, going out too early in Q1 is pointless because even if they did a perfect lap, in 5 minutes time the track would be over half a second faster, and they have to go out again anyway
I agree, don't understand why they went out so early.
June!!!? The main problem has been not modifying the front suspension. When you modify your front wing, the flow that is channeled through the front suspension changes, yet we have not modified it anything this year. Newey and Cardille can help with the suspension, I don't believe 2025 is already lost. The team hasn't got a clue what they need to fix, but by running different part specs at least they are gathering tons of data that will help Newey/Cardille understand the car and its mistakes.
unless they find a loophole or just copy the the best bits of the top teams, next year gunna be rough.
Seems the team went downhill since they tried reducing the drag last year
I thought Oct 2024 originally. Then I read the official announcement about Newey joining in March 2025. Then that announcement went on to say that Newey's joining AMR would be further reinforced with Cardille joining in June - July time frame.laspeorasdeaston wrote: ↑27 Oct 2024, 10:30June!!!? I think we have a missunderstand here. i remember i read somewhere Cardille starts in January. Maybe some source is wrong.diffuser wrote: ↑27 Oct 2024, 15:34I thought Oct 2024 originally. I think that is again the push-rod limiting the ability to take the bumps of the curbs, then the car is more difficult to drive and keep it stablediffuser wrote: ↑27 Oct 2024, 16:59So I was looking at F1-Temp comparing Sainz and Alonso and I couldn't understand why Sainz was able to carry so much more speed into corners 1 thru 3. Then I came across this post on X ..

Look at how much more Curb Ferrari can use. They're actually straightening the track by doing that.
