This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
Stewards should have given themselves a penalty for allowing racing to go on with a wing mirror on the start finish straight. It was an obvious accident waiting to happen. You don't need to be a genius to figure it out. We are lucky no one had a big crash because of it.
So instead of throwing a short VSC or a 2-3 lap SC we got 2 punctures and a longer SC with going through pits until it was cleaned up. And then Hamilton gets drive through for pit speed infringement and Norris 10s stop and go.
Race control once again continuously making the most dangerous decisions they can, while simultaneously fixing the results. Good job FIA.

Will be interesting to know if Sulayem was talking to the stewards about it again
How is Mclaren in Abu Dhabi as a car though? Does the track suit the car more than today?
Dont think so. This was their shot. The only hope is Verstappen stays strong, and perhaps Russell, to push Ferrari to p3 and 4 with Mclaren p5 and 6...
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows
Easy to feel down after a result like this but I feel Ferrari are going to win it now
We have a 21 points gap so it's going to have to be a perfect race from Ferrari (or a disaster from McLaren) to get them over. It should be winnable. It's easy to see how VER or RUS could win in Abu Dhabi making things even harder for Ferrari.

We need either one of them to win it.
If Ferrari 1-2 it Mclaren loose it with a 5-6 behind Russell and Verstappen
The championship could have been finished today with Norris pushing for 1st and a matter of time to pass but the Liberty Media wanted a last race drama.
Still that 21 points difference is a good difference as the car will be good enough last race for being close to the Ferrari and nothing indicates Ferrari being top 3 with Russell and Max.
Missed out on a great last stint fight between Max and Lando thanks to a joke of a penalty. Lando was flying on the hards. Anyways Abu Dhabi should be better for McLaren than Red Bull with the slow speed S3. Curious to see what happens there.

Race control don't decide the penalty, the stewards pulled that one out of the hat. What they did with the mirror was dangerous and could have cost millions in damage.

McLaren only needs P4+P5 and FL to win no matter what. They are very much still in the drievrs seat even if Ferrari turn out to be faster in Abu Dhabi.
It’s pretty much a case of Ferrari being unable to win unless McLaren screws up.
