For being disqualified? No- a heavier wing I believe was fitted then they drained the fuel out and then it weighted under 800kg

Yeah sounds about right. The same problem manifesting in separate criteria that failed the FIA check. 1 was underweight/lighter possibly limiting ground contact, the other heavier and kissing the ground more. Still fundamentally the same problem sharedCjC wrote: ↑23 Mar 2025, 13:59I disagree.chrstphrln wrote: ↑23 Mar 2025, 13:40No, that one kilo alone shouldn't have such serious consequences.
From reading the articles published by the FIA regarding the weights and measurements of the 3 cars and I am astounded at how there is literally zero tolerance accounted for by the teams- there is literally no margin for error.
1kg over 57 laps will not cause an extra 0.5mm of plank wear which is what basically Hamilton has been disqualified.
I’m fairly confident that if Leclerc ran all race with his front wing intact and at the correct weight he too would have been disqualified due to excessive plank wear in my opinion
That doesn't add up. According to this document, Hamilton's car hasn't been tested either.CouncilorIrissa wrote: ↑23 Mar 2025, 14:14They did not.
