Charles car is missing a piece of front wing..could be the reason?
For being disqualified? No- a heavier wing I believe was fitted then they drained the fuel out and then it weighted under 800kg
Just a fan's point of view

If they have to raise the car for Suzuka…woof. :?

Might be one of the worst tracks to have reduced downforce at.

We’ll definitely see the “Real Ferrari” Fred Vasseur was talking about last week.

Yeah, I'm fairly confident at this point that they'll be absolutely nowhere in Suzuka. 7-8 guaranteed.

Charles was 1kg underweight which would help to not wear out the skid plank..
No, that one kilo alone shouldn't have such serious consequences.
I disagree.
From reading the articles published by the FIA regarding the weights and measurements of the 3 cars and I am astounded at how there is literally zero tolerance accounted for by the teams- there is literally no margin for error.

1kg over 57 laps will not cause an extra 0.5mm of plank wear which is what basically Hamilton has been disqualified.
I’m fairly confident that if Leclerc ran all race with his front wing intact and at the correct weight he too would have been disqualified due to excessive plank wear in my opinion
Yeah sounds about right. The same problem manifesting in separate criteria that failed the FIA check. 1 was underweight/lighter possibly limiting ground contact, the other heavier and kissing the ground more. Still fundamentally the same problem shared

Two DSQs for two separate infringements is crazy work by Ferrari. Return of the meme.

Btw do they have to carry across the same plank across sprint & main? I believe it’s a new plank now that parc ferme rules no longer exist between events, no?

Did they even test Charles Ferrari for plank wear if they found the weight disparity first?

Right. That's precisely the crucial question. Without a clear answer, it's all speculation anyway.

I'm sure that not all cars are checked, bar wear and how everyone drives low is mandatory, FIA is complete incompetence, to come up with ground effect rules and its operation is connected with the fact that it would create pressure between the floor and the track surface and drive as low as possible, but the rules do not allow driving low, this is absurd, remind me of the last time someone was disqualified for bar wear before 2022?

There may be consideration in tyres, either CL on a one stop ? (Like GR in Belgium) and LH on two, definitely.

Agree that it SHOULDN'T happen, but a possibility in running V-close to weight margin.

That doesn't add up. According to this document, Hamilton's car hasn't been tested either. 😉

Haas performance was linked to Ferrari suspension/GB being the issue, last week.

This week Haas did well. Why not have some optimism until all facts are in light?

Big task.on hands for Fred. Hopefully all the bad luck or incompetence is exhausted upfront in the season.

This is amateurish though.
