Croft and Brundle - they were deflated yesterday when Max bagged pole, and they were deflated today when the Sainz-Bearman incident (btw, why the penalty on Bearman ? I don't understand the rules/stewards in 2025 at all) didn't result in a VSC/SC that could have handed a free stop to the Mclarens. Croft mentioned it twice or thrice, he couldn't let go of this. Ever since Abudhabi 2021, there is not even an attempt to hide their bias by the Sky team.
I know theres british bias but did we watch the same qualifying? Crofty was pretty excited when Max got pole and immediately pointed out that he set a new lap record at Monza and Brundle pointed out how that was classic Max

Did Max keep the fastest lap?
No Max best lap was 1:21.003, Lando piped him on last lap with 1:20.901
Was that the racing lap record?

Bortoleto rookie of the year?
Or Hadjar, but BOR has to beat HUL which is something harder
Hadjar, Bortoletto, Bearman, Antonelli, Lawson - that's the pecking order of rookies in my mind.
Yes, Lawson is not a rookie anymore now and I think is career is already in a bad shape.

Antonelli… I think it was a mistake to put him in the Mercedes. He deserve another chance maybe but for now it is bad.

Hadjar and Bortoleto are great surprise, Hadjar since the beginning and Bortoleto seems to progress at every race
Agreed. I would only give Hadjar rookie of the year over Bortoleto on the count that Hadjar hit the ground running. But Bortoleto is really getting extremely quick now. Putting Hulk in the shade and making that Sauber look like a decent points contender each race.

Hadjar didn't hit the ground running, he hit the wall on the formation lap.

Max was the fastest over only 32/53 = 60% of the total laps, yet was dominant throughout the race.
The sheer consistency in laptimes points to driving to target numbers in both stints, and maybe there was even more performance that wasn't shown.
