Interesting thought, though I don't know how much to read into a high downforce wing being brought to a high downforce track.michl420 wrote: ↑10 Jan 2026, 14:19That is more or less the new maximal allowed rear wing size. And that make me think they will run this max rear wings at ~70% of all circuits.AR3-GP wrote: ↑10 Jan 2026, 05:13Something that surprises me is how small the rear wing is for a circuit like Barcelona. This looks like a Spa or Monza spec wing. You would expect to see larger wings than before because there is no longer a penalty on the straights due to active aero.

I think it's pointless to make any sort of "analysis" based on images like these. The overall contour of the car is accurate, but any detail between the lines is pretty much entirely hallucinated.bauc wrote: ↑10 Jan 2026, 21:30More AI enhancements?

Bottom pic is AI for sure. Wtf is happening around front wheels? And front wheel deflectors are gone in ‘26bauc wrote: ↑10 Jan 2026, 21:30More AI enhancements?

Grow up: AI does not ENHANCE the image!! Enhancing is making it better. AI only hallucinates made up things and adds it to the image. This is NOT enhancement, this is destruction!bauc wrote: ↑10 Jan 2026, 21:30More AI enhancements?

Ah, it got un-paywalled.

Looks enhanced, it's hallucinated a '22-25 spec front wing end plate as well as the high raised floor inlet. There aren't any images of 2026 cars to train on so it's coming up with what it knowsAR3-GP wrote: ↑15 Jan 2026, 21:41I don't think I saw this posted? Has it been AI enhanced? I'm not sure.

lighting trick or curved rear control arm?

Good spots. I agree. I also noticed the asymmetry of the rear wing endplates where it meets the wing. It looks like there is a hole on the left side. That isn't right.icantride wrote: ↑16 Jan 2026, 08:30Looks enhanced, it's hallucinated a '22-25 spec front wing end plate as well as the high raised floor inlet. “After digging around here and there, a source told me that Audi's shakedown in Barcelona was extremely problematic. Apparently, they brought three power units, and some of those engines couldn't last more than a few laps.”
What was in the tweet? That sentence? (Only?)edu2703 wrote: ↑17 Jan 2026, 23:30Brazilian journalist for Motorsports.com Brazil

This, and Cadillac's problems, explain why the Barcelona tests will be private.
These engine would have spent a xxxxx hours in the engine dyno. The engine likely is not coming apart, more to do with installation and cooling.
