I think it was confirmed they running on tuesday
It seems, AM wants to run in wet weather. Team wont get that opportunity in Bahrain.
Right, then. Talk to me. What's the Barcelona Shakedown?
It's an opportunity for teams to run their car without limitations like a maximum of 200km of running on promotional tyres that is permitted during filming days, so they can start checking parts on the new machines work as expected.
Nothing to worry about it ,last year Redbull had exactly the same situation.TyreSlip wrote: ↑25 Jan 2026, 19:26Awful news to report.
Aston Martin failed the crash test more than once. That is going to eat a lot into the budget cap.
Besides being a lot overweight, the team is going to make a decision soon if it will make the test in time. It might be pushed into Thursday.

Multiple failed crash tests? Destroying a whole chassis cost millions, much less multiple ones.OnEcRiTiCaL wrote: ↑25 Jan 2026, 19:55Nothing to worry about it ,last year Redbull had exactly the same situation.TyreSlip wrote: ↑25 Jan 2026, 19:26Awful news to report.

The cars will likely NOT be running their liveries or driver numbers...how will you be able to tell them appart?Emag wrote: ↑24 Jan 2026, 23:18There's cameras that can get HD photos even from a distance of 200 meters. The problem is that those are usually quite expensive and not everyone has access to one unless they're passionate hobbyist or somehow involved with media.BassVirolla wrote: ↑24 Jan 2026, 22:49This track is not far from a bunker.![]()
The grainy leaked Audi footage had to be recorded from a scaffolding put at a good distance from the track, in a hill.
I am hoping there will be one or the other present this time around at Barcelona willing to get some nice shots of the cars.
The Audi photos and videos looked like they came out of a phone.
You can because some have already announced their test liveries. Some others have already shown their cars which have discernible details.diffuser wrote: ↑25 Jan 2026, 20:11The cars will likely NOT be running their liveries or driver numbers...how will you be able to tell them appart?Emag wrote: ↑24 Jan 2026, 23:18There's cameras that can get HD photos even from a distance of 200 meters. I believe that even with a fully camouflaged livery, the teams are still required by the regulations to display the driver's number on the nose of the car.
Motorsport Italy disagrees on the causes of the delay:TyreSlip wrote: ↑25 Jan 2026, 19:59Multiple failed crash tests? There are no rumors of crash test problems, completed successfully long without inconvenience.
