are mercs sandbagging so much? what was that start? Hamilton basically flew past it really can't be that bad.. are they pretending to act weak and change rule?
George got massive wheelspin and also everyone is sandbagging which includes this team.

You can have a bigger battery than 4 MJ. You just have to use software to limit the amount of maximum discharge to 4 MJ.

I'm not sure of the weight implications but I'd assume everyone will just field a bigger battery and use the "middle" part of the battery.
Hmm yeah that could be correct

🔴 "According to initial data, Ferrari can gain an additional 8-10 km/h on straights thanks to this new wing compared to the others. Mercedes and Red Bull engineers are surprised by the solution!"

Ferrari cooking? :-k
The difference in drag coefficient, for the same engine power and frontal area, between 330 and 340 kph is 6.1%, for the entire car. That does not take into account rolling resistance and such (anyone has a good estimation of that effect?)

Anyway, 6% for the entire cd compared to the regular straightline mode doesn't seem possible IMO.

I loved it even if it produces bigger drag.

Lewis's times in his fractured race sim were pretty good. Shame stint 3 kind of got ruined by traffic and dirty air, his times in clean air were very strong.

If that was a race sim, I dont think it was very strong at all. Stint 1 was faster than last week's, but Stint 2 was quite a bit slower. None are remotely as fast as Piastri's sim.

What lap times are you looking at? From what I am looking at, Lewis did less laps but the average was quicker. Piastri's third stint is also experiencing really bad deg. You seem very quick to claim McLaren is quicker lol.

The Mercedes is what it is. Impressive any which way you look at it.

McLaren a little step behind.
What is the relevance of this post to this thread? Are you replying to another poster? I don't see a post being quoted.

You've brought up Mercedes and McLaren in a Ferrari team thread. I'm struggling to see how this post belongs here.
