Like Rossi you mean? ;) He is someone who refuses to be beaten and remains inch perfect for the whole race

200bhp deficit, but way better tires....consider last year this time BS is going for the longivity tire development(and we saw even in its best iteration it is still crap compare to what they were running in 2004), and we can assume now the 06 spec changable tire are even better than 04....

Looks like Rossi is out, thank god, he said NO : )
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Well I am disappointed, he is a Big Girl's Blouse

To be given the oportunity and not take it  even if he turned out to be mid field he could go back to Moto GP and win the championship again, but to not even try

LOL...40 points. Not to take anything away from the guy whos beating him but he should have known better...he should be working...not challenging the F1 Champ to silly little races that are inconcequential.

Serves him right.

:D :D :D
World champion Fernando Alonso added: "Good, so we don't talk any more about him. After four months maybe this is the last question [about Rossi]."
OOOOO is a-loaf-so jealous of Rossi ???

http://www.speedtv.com/articles/auto/formulaone/24844/

clearly bernie wants rossi in F'ed 1 because fartnando is a boring champ...
According to the Yamaha rider's father Graziano, a one-time motorcycle racer, Rossi made his decision on his own and it was a well thought-out one . "This was such an important decision that he took his time because he himself wanted to be sure. Perhaps the deciding factor was that when he was testing the car he did not feel that same rush he does when he's racing a bike." Graziano Rossi said .
He doesnt find F1 thrilling..... :D :D .....take that !!!

Its clear where the action is boysss......!!

Regardless, i believe he will make his way into F1 within a couple of years (just to make a little extra $$$$ - like who is going to knock him back when he is ready?!?!?!? Bernie will pay for his seat in F1... )....So much excitment in motogp at the moment that switching for a sunday drive of follow the leader would be a waste of talent.

Enjoy

He doesnt find F1 exciting....thats a bit much to come from somebody who's never raced in an F1 car lol. Testing isnt exactly going to be exciting is it?

Sounds like he realises success wont come straight away and its therefore "Not fun anymore....waaaaah!!!" lol. Poor little Valentino has throw all his toys out of the pram!

have you ever raced a bike i have much more respect for the moto gp guys than i will for any f1 driver post 1967

i agree with the current cars and rules f1 has become follow the leader and pass in the pits the driver is only a small precentage of the race where as moto gp there are no pits once the bike is setup its rider vs rider

Well, I don't know how hard moto GP is but I don't like it for one reason, no matter what they do the crashes will never look less painful!

Its good that Rossi quit, now it gives someone who is really enthusiastic about the drive to come in and race rather than a 'mmm, I dunno, I might do it, but only if its gaurenteed I'd do well, perhaps' type guy.

Also I think Marlboro would have given Rossi less support than say they are offering Kimi and Michael. Is Rossi not a Camel man at the moment?

im pretty sure the f1 cars kill more moto gp riders than bikes do i think there has only been one bike related death in quite a few years in moto gp

There are still alot of injuries, and it wasn't the result of the crash I was meaning, it was how painful they all look. With F1 the great thing is we can watch major crashes (Albers, Imola) and know straight away that they have a high chance of walking away whereas with motorbikes you are never quite sure. These guys will have a high sider at 100+mph and at those speed who knows whats gonna happen when they land?

agreed i raced motocross for a few years and it hurts while relitivly safe it still hurts alot

but on the other hand watch the amount of control the bike guys posses instead of steering with there hands and feet they use every part of there body.

to me moto gp is becoming the new pinical in motor sports you still have engines way beyond the capacity of the chassis and tires no down force no pit strategey you go out drive teh wheels of thing and hope you were better than the next guy

Yes, he is currently sponsored by Camel. Oddly enough, Rossi is a fighter against sponsoring from the tobacco industry and has tried to make his teams find alternative sponsorship.
I remember reading that last year's sponsorship deal with Gauloises forced a huge amount of money to be donated by Gauloises (for lung cancer research or anti-smoking campaigns... I don't recall).
