If it relates to Indycar, I doubt it will be a full time drive. Motorsport.com would have been all over the speculation story by now. But you never know, I could be wrong.

Scuderia Toro Rosso has announced that Alexander Albon will drive for the team in the 2019 Formula 1 season, alongside Daniil Kvyat. The 22-year-old British/Thai finished third in the Formula 2 Championship this year, having been in the running for overall victory until the final race.

Most likely Sainz, Stoff and Lando will be the drivers for next year. Kind of sad to see a driver that neither RB or Renault wanted becoming the lead driver for Mclaren
He even hints in his statement that he would like to come back if the time is right, but lets face it. if he goes now it is not likely he will be coming back, is it?
I guess in theory if Mclaren suddenly starts challenging for podiums in the next 1-2 years he could come back. Or if he wins Indy and achieves the triple crown. Never been an Alonso fan, but will miss him
