When a mclaren did a fast time there is no boom boom waw ect Bottas just did 1m17.1 and autosport said boom boom on track !!

Probably beacuse McLaren is giving it everything and the press know/think the Merc/Ferrari can go much faster?

They are keeping the hype in check by doing that, and that is a good thing.

Sector 3 nimbleness (mechanical grip and balance) is still some way off

I looks like they got speed they were good all of the 2 weeks on speed traps, downforce will come down the line, a big update in Australia will help.

You have a point... but SkyF1 can be misleading with tyro info... I think we should wait for Pireli data. But if it's true, they can go 16.5 on C5 then, maybe even faster.
