Thanks! I try to stay "calm" (not always
Don't want to restart this discussion, but I can't agree more. Its just one of Hams mind games, and is actually a nasty try to axe Ver down. Palmer's analysis is in that way spot on. I think Ham perfectly understands that his main competitor is Ver and not Vet or Lec.Capharol wrote: ↑30 Oct 2019, 18:48agreeSieper wrote: ↑30 Oct 2019, 18:24It was Lewis who took the risk, and then handily shifted it to Max afterwards in the PC.
But it is ALWAYS the same guys who go in attack mode EVERY time Max' result has been anything less then perfect. The race thread is not enough they have to come and also do the same in the team thread once over. Let me tell you that if next race Max puts Lewis outside of the white lines (instead of Lewis Max like happened in Mexico) it will be an outcry from the same crowd. And in fact, it will likely be a penalty as well.
THAT is the reason Lewis is playing these games.
I have to agree with that. I have never read one bad word from you about Lewis. You are always very positive about his talent.Sieper wrote: ↑30 Oct 2019, 18:24It was Lewis who took the risk, and then handily shifted it to Max afterwards in the PC.

THAT is the reason Lewis is playing these games. And now by posting this I WILL get attacked again (what bullshit, so stupid, wrong on all accounts for this and that reason etc. etc.) that is the reason I less and less reply to them anymore. I don't enjoy it and I feel I should not even start a defensive fight simply because someone goes on the attack. In fact by defending you validate the standpoint. I was asked to reply so I did but grudgingly.
Have a search on race threads or in team topics how often I go into the attack on Lewis once he has a less then perfect weekend.
If I was a team principal, I'd love to have a driver like Max. But he'd stop that BS.Capharol wrote: ↑30 Oct 2019, 16:59never ever read so many BS in 1 post..... because was it all his to blame? did the stewards penalized him for it ?..... NOGPR -A wrote: ↑30 Oct 2019, 15:45Is there a reason why you ask, since Canada 2018? You can't cherry pick a period to prove a clean track record.
Including the first few race of 2018 and at Suzuka, he was miserable. In 2019, coming together with Sainz in Bahrain, the British GP incident with Vettel. He was lucky to get away with Austria when he bumped Leclerc off the track as stewards wanted to be lenient towards on track incidents. If it were to repeat now, Leclerc would rather crash with him than to leave the track. That's how he has evolved now, which he displayed in Britain while fighting with Max. Needless to highlight Spa where he repeated the same mistake from the past, going for a gap which was never going to be there.
The reason why Max is being criticized, is because he has a troublesome past on track. No doubt he had a decent outing in between, but once again, he has gone back to his old ways. Like Lewis mentioned, he is a magnet towards so many incidents. May be he is not entirely at fault in many of those, but the fact that he gets into such places, makes one question his presence of mind in such racy situations.
You can't say they will fall behind. Honda maybe have also found it or something similar. But they often remain quiet and silent about. We will see next season...
