One of two things (or maybe a combination)...
1. This has a
lot of parts on from 2019 on purpose to not give the game away.
2. Ferrari has sensibly decided they will not beat Mercedes in 2020 now their engine trick has been found out, so focus on 2021 and sacrifice 2020.
As a long term battle plan number 2 would actually be sensible and the option I'd go for.
you should do stand-up comedy
It's clear Ferrari is focused on 2020 just as much as for 2021, the car clearly has a lot of changes compared to 2019, you don't do that if you've thrown the towel in the ring and settle for nr2. That's not Ferrari's philosophy at all anyway.
As for the endless 'engine bashing'; the fact remains we remain clueless. It's pretty ignorant too to forget Ferrari was competitive all through the first half of the season just as much, except that it seems they went a bit backwards in upgrades that did not work untill making back the jump after the summer break. If anything, that brings a certain hope that they have learned a lot from last season and will be more competitive for 2020.
But honestly, settle for 2nd? yeah right
